My Mind's Eye Layout

Good Morning.

Today I decided to enter into a contest with My Mind's Eye. This is my very first contest. Hope I win lol. I LOVE their paper. The colors and patterns are soooo beautiful...they are my favorite. I used their Flirty Scrapbooking Kit. Beautiful pinks, greens and blues.

For the base I used white Bazzill cardstock (another of my favorite papers). I love the textures they have.

I used a picture of my daughter that I took this fall. It just seemed to go with the colors.

It's a pretty simple page but I think it turned out well :)

Hello All!

I am new to the world of blogging and am excited to be here. I am a stay at home mom that loves to craft. I started scrapbooking about eleven years ago when my cousin dragged me (kicking and screaming of course) to a Creative Memories booth at a women's show. She signed us up for a class which we, of course lol, dragged our mothers too. I was hooked.

After a few years I shifted gears from Creative Memories and linked up with Stampin' Up! and became a consultant with them. Then being the changeaholic I am, I moved to Close To My Heart and became a consultant with them for about two years. Oh, then I discovered the world of blogs and how much more variety in stamps and inks and papers and EVERYTHING there was. Wow. There is so much out there...

I have my favorite blogs that I haunt daily. I will post them another day. There are so many inspiring crafters out there. They just amaze me and inspire me with their creativity. Maybe someday I will inspire someone too :)
